MYSTERIOUS WORLDS

Were nothing is as it seems

Vision of Crash

When I was 17 I went on a camping trip with some friends. There is a hike you can take to the top of the mountain to look out in several directions and see different states, or you can drive up. We could only manage half the hike and decided to drive up the next day. The drive is scary. There are no guard rails and it is a narrow curvy gravel road.

The next day it was only three of us that went up, myself, my boyfriend and his friend. Our friend was driving and mentioned being low on gas on the way up. We spent a couple hours on the cliff looking out. When we were about to leave, my boyfriend opened the back passenger door for me (sweet I know). I put my hand on the door to steady myself while getting in. As soon as I put my hand on the door, this crazy rush went through my whole body and I could no longer see what was around me. Instead I was in the back seat with my boyfriend on the other side. When I looked out the front windshield I saw we were spinning and sliding uncontrollably on the narrow gravel road—then we went over the edge.

I saw that we were heading right for a tree. I remember in the vision at that moment right before hitting the tree looking over at my boyfriend, reaching for his hand and smiling at him, and in that moment I wasn't afraid. I felt completely at peace. I felt like I was reassuring him, too, that we would be okay.

As we hit the tree I couldn't see it, but felt as though it smashed right through the middle and came between us in the back seat. At this point I came back to, to find myself still standing there holding the door, staring straight ahead and my boyfriend saying my name. I asked him how long was I standing there. He seemed confused so I asked him how many times did he have to call my name and he said, Only a few times. What's wrong.

I told him what I saw; he could tell I was upset. So he said, Get in. I'll sit up front. So we get in and start to head back down when our friend decides that turning the car off to save gas going down hill was a good idea. But in doing so the steering wheel locked up and he couldn't steer around the curves. The car started to slide out of control and headed straight for the drop off. My boyfriend grabbed the wheel yelled, Push the brake, to his friend and restarted the car, all in the same instant, then regained control of the car.

It all happened so fast, and my boyfriend and myself were both freaked out not only by the near tragedy, but by my vision before. We believe it saved our lives. That was the only time I've ever had a vision, but I'm hoping someday it will happen again.
