MYSTERIOUS WORLDS

Were nothing is as it seems

Clairvius Narcisse

In the early 1980's news of a real zombie came out in some newspapers and news broadcasts. The zombies name was Clairvius Narcisse. The famous living zombie did not eat brains and walk as you see in zombie movies or on tv. Clairvius Narcisse became famous and known as the Haitian Zombie. In Haiti it is said that some people who practice voodoo have found ways to make zombies.  In 1962 Clairvius Narcisse was pronounced dead. After Clairvius's body was buried it is said that the zombie maker then dug up Clairvius to make him like a work slave or zombie that he could control and use for labor purposes.

Around 1980 the man they believe to be Clairvius Narcisse walked up to his sister Angelina Narcisse at L'Estere Marketplace in Haiti. L'Estere is in Artibonite Valley. People around the so called zombie man seemed to fear him due to the fact that his eyes seems empty and he seemed scary in ways. Soon after Clairvius approached and spoke to his sister Angelina Narcisse she realized it was her brother whom they had all buried and had a funeral for.

In Haiti they believe a zombie is a person whom was killed then raised from the dead by what they call malevolent voodoo or bocors. After research into zombies and voodoo my people whom did not believe in zombies in the start have now started saying that zombies are real or zombies are made by certain plants and natural herbs with other things being added to make a person in a coma like state of mind and body. It is like being poisoned in ways that your vital signs can not be found & when people are brought back or it wears off they can keep them on such drugs to keep them in their control. *Sounds much like an american drug dealers way of taking on a girlfriend grin* Seriously if you think to it in ways it is more like those in the usa that end up in mental hospitals and are kept on drugs to the point where they can not think or function well. It is much the same if you ask me. Grin and sadly so.

Narcisse was declared dead in 1962 at Albert Schweitzer Hospital. That is an american run institute in Deschapelles. Hundreds of people recognized Clairvius Narcisse after seeing him as they say brought back to life after death or zombification. Zombification cases of real zombies by voodoo have been reported more often than you could imagine. In the Case of Narcisse they say that he was killed by his own brothers for going against them in selling the family land.
